The talcum powder applicator is used to cover cables and wires with a talcum layer by laying out method.
A cable or wire, while passing trough a talcum mould generated by a rotating screw, is covered by an uniform layer of talcum powder. Heating of talcum container protects against collecting moisture and talcum caking. On the other hand, brush sealings – adjusted individually to a cable diameter – reduce talcum surplus and prevent from dusting outside the applicator. Small amounts of talcum, not bound with a cable, may be disposed to the gutter and to the connected talcum container. Hydraulic cylinder installed on stand facilitates adjustment of a cable axis to an axis of the talcum powder applicator.
