The extruder head is used to form insulation on cords and wires made of plastics (PE and soft PVC). The head and connection temperature is controlled by use of thermocouples and electric heaters. Setting of insulation centricity is carried out by use of adjusting screws.
The head is provided with a connection to the extruder and so-called by-pass system allowing to guide the plasticized mass out of the forming system. The head construction allows forming of insulation without the necessity to set its centricity. The head is adjusted to be connected to the marking extruder.
As an option the head can be provided with a connection to a specific type of an extruder.
